Funding

The funding for the OP Infrastructures and Networks 2014-2020 is € 1,843,733,334 of which € 1,382,800,000 is provided by the European Regional Development Fund and € 460,933,334 by the National Revolving Fund.

Due to the modification of the OP Infrastructures and Networks 2014-2020 budget – which took place in August 2021 in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic to swiftly activate the REACT- EU resources both to address the effects of the crisis and its social consequences and to prepare a green, digital and resilient recovery of the economy within the current programming period - the total financial allocation has been changed to 1.890.450.014 euro.

The ERDF provides 1.173.322.511 euros while the contribution from the National Revolving Fund stands at 391.107.503 euros; the financial contribution of ERDF – REACT-EU amounts to 322.765.000 euros and the national counterpart stands at 3.255.000 euros. An additional reprogramming took place in May 2022 to support the reduction of leaks in Southern Italy Water Networks and to strengthen Local Public Transport. As a consequence, the funding for the OP Infrastructure and Networks 2014-2020 was increased 2,234,450,014 euro.
